thanks for the reply,  
 
i was using in the template - 
 
:Title:title ("Required"=25) +
 
which resulted in the error when re-editing the completed form
 
by using your suggestion -
 
:Server Name: sname What is the name of the server (title=25) + 
 
the title directive works as expected.
