There is an Author Contributions recipe that might be helpful.

I often put a pagelist on both the Profiles/SideBar and the
Profiles/HomePage (from which the pagelist on the SideBar is not visible) so
that someone coming to the Profiles/HomePage can click through to any
profile page, and from there use the SideBar to jump to another one.  ALSO
using Profiles/GroupFooter, you can create a pagelist-driven wikitrail-like
thing so people can step through the list from beginning to end.

Also, the Profiles group is a good one for having a group-specific Template
page.
