I've already described on the list how the "officially supported"
blogging features will look and act; the major thread starts at
http://thread.gmane.org/gmane.comp.web.wiki.pmwiki.user/20510/focus=20510 .
I highly recommend reviewing that thread before commenting about
what should or should not be included.

And to respond to a specific point being raised:

PmWiki's "official" blog support won't rely on pagenames being numbered.  
Any page can be a blog entry, and it can be an entry in multiple separate
blogs.
