The ease of installation/distribution *is* a major advantage with PmWiki,
but I still feel that it would be really nice to be able to install PmWiki
in two separate directory structures (one that is publicly accesible, and
one that is not). I am sure that there are some administrators out there
that would also prefer it like this.

Is there some way we could have an easy way to distribute PmWiki for a
"secure" installation? In other words, some way that makes it easy to
install PmWiki as two separate directory structures. One solution I can
think of is to simply distribute PmWiki as two archives, that you then
unpack in two different directories. (The original kind of archive with
everything installed in one structure should of course still be
available).

However, I wonder if this isn't really starting in the wrong end...
shouldn't the first question be the structure of these two structures?
(Or are they obvious?)

I vaguely remember trying to install PmWiki in two separate structures,
but that something broke.... i.e. I never got it to work. If this is
interesting, I wouldn't mind discussing/testing this further.

/Christian
