This is correct -- on Macs dragging a folder from one place to
another _completely_ overwrites the contents of the target folder.
At least that's what I've been told on numerous occasions from people
who have tried to upgrade PmWiki by simply dragging the new folder
over the existing one (and losing wiki.d/ and other customizations
as a result).

My vote is also to use categories, but have an easy way for
site admins to exclude documentation pages (which would mean they
don't pollute the categories).
