This is not exactly correct, the image is fully downloaded and re-sized in the 
browser. This is just a scaled-down huge picture, not a real thumbnail 
(smaller picture, fewer bytes).

I would use the following :

>>rframe width=120px<<
%thumb% Attach:pic.jpg | Caption

OR possibly (not sure if it works in all browsers)

%thumb% Attach:pic.jpg | Caption
