[pmwiki-users] %lframe thumb% Image captions

This would be a most definite useful tool, if possible. Right now we
have the thumblist capability, however, in having it as an automated
capability within the PMWiki engine would be a great addition to the
feature rich program.

Would it be hard to make something like this?

Chris

Subject: [pmwiki-users] %lframe thumb% Image captions

The %lframe thumb% markup is quite smart and useful.
 - Image is reduced on the fly
 - Both the image and its caption (or part of it) can easily be rendered
as links to the full size image or any other suitable target.
 - Caption is easily formatted in any
small/italic/bold/colored/whatever way as usual
 - All is nicely inclosed in a box, floated left (or right if suitable)

The (known perhaps) issue is: I seem not to find a way to let the text
flow within the box, as opposed to the text force the whole box to
expand. A clear example is here
http://www.kirpi.it/wiki/pmwiki.php?n=Test.ImageCaption

By browsing this page
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Byzantine%E2%80%93Seljuk_wars (just an
example) it is apparent how useful it would be to have the caption text
adapt to the box, properly.

Here is why am I exposing this issue.
Does anybody know how this could be accomplished, or any workaround
whatsoever, please?

Luigi
