I've only just looked at this and added it to my commercial site.  I'd
vote in favour of having it in the core.

For those (semi-) against, I think the very fact that there are at
least two solutions proposed already (config.php vs template) means an
'official' implementation that meets Google's requirements
specifically is a good idea.

As for people getting confused when implementing - this list is
evidence enough that PmWiki has enough of that already, and also that
it is no great problem *because* of this list.

For the sake of a single IF statement, those who don't want it won't
be inconvenienced.
