yes, thanks, curious.

so semi ghraphic characters are displayed correctly withput problem 
(formatting is only to keep carriage return).

I was thinking [@ @] and >>pre<< did a similar job, wrong :-(

and it's very surprising to see semi graphics transformed as codes in the edit 
windows itself (first time I see this)
