[pmwiki-users] PmWiki 2.2.0 released

I'm pleased to announce the release of PmWiki version 2.2.0.
This version is now available from:

    http://www.pmwiki.org/pub/pmwiki/pmwiki-2.2.0.tgz
    http://www.pmwiki.org/pub/pmwiki/pmwiki-2.2.0.zip
    svn://www.pmwiki.org/pmwiki/tags/latest

Other than the change in version number, there are no significant
changes from pmwiki-2.2.0-beta68 to pmwiki-2.2.0, so sites that
are already running pmwiki-2.2.0-beta68 should be able to upgrade
to this version without any difficulty.

Administrators who are running sites with older versions of PmWiki
should carefully read the Release Notes to see if any of the
changes have the potential affect the site.  I also strongly
recommend making a backup of the entire PmWiki installation prior to
attempting any upgrade from versions prior to pmwiki-2.2.0-beta68.

As always, if there are any questions or problems, try asking the 
pmwiki-users mailing list and someone will undoubtedly be able 
to help out.  There is also the #pmwiki channel on irc.freenode.net
where many of us hang out and answer questions.

Many thanks to the numerous people who contributed to the
development of PmWiki 2.2.0 (far too many to list here).  The
ChangeLog lists some of the contributors, and anyone who
contributes to PmWiki is welcome to self-add to the
PmWiki.Contributors page on pmwiki.org .

I expect we will have some "maintenance releases" in the very near
future as Petko and I clear out a backlog of bugs and other minor
improvements.  We'll continue to announce these releases to the
mailing lists as they occur.
