[pmwiki-users] pmWIki Markup Reference

Can anyone recommend a good reference for either PmWiki markup (I've  
looked in the docs but I need a broader explanation as I don't know  
php well at all).  A reference for php reg_replace would be helpful  
also as I understand that it is the basis for PmWiki markup.

This way I can do a little more research and experimentation on my  
own before I post my basic questions... :-)
