That's only for windows users. In *nix, you can use the compose key
(referred to as 'Multi_key' below) to produce:

?	- <Multi_key> <less> <less>        : "\253"        guillemotleft
?	- <Multi_key> <greater> <greater>  : "\273"        guillemotright

For a list of what you can do using the compose key, see your file:

	/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/locale/iso8859-1/Compose

(the actual location might vary depending on your system). You'll find
lots of neat symbols you can produce this way. Some examples are:

	? - <Multi_key> s s	(double s in german)
	? - <Multi_key> c o 	(copyright symbol)
