[Pmwiki-users] Tips for easily do a minor upgrade of pmwiki

Hi

I'd like some tips on how to easily do a minor upgrade of pmwiki.

Right now I take the .tar-file and extract it to e.g.  pmwiki-0.6.beta13/
and then move it's contents to ~chr/pmwiki/, but I'd like to skip the
separate step involved in doing the move. One way would be to rename the
directory to 'pmwiki/' and make a tar-file out of it which I then extract
to the right place, but this seems needlessly complicated.

Does anyone know of better way to upgrade (i.e. to extract the contents
directly into ~chr/pmwiki/)?
