Yup: hang in there!  I and several of my Ph.D. colleagues have remarked
that persistence and committment are most important to getting the Ph.D.
I always tell my students who are considering a Ph.D. that they
really have to commit to finishing it, because (as you've apparently
discovered) it can get pretty frustrating at times... 1/2 :-)
I know a lot of people who have become ABD ("all but dissertation")--
they finish all of the classes but then get bogged down in finishing the
dissertation or research.
