Agreed, this page should be cleaned and simplified, and all migrations 
bits could be moved to a new Cookbook page (in case someone wants to 
learn how to upgrade old recipes).

Also, all examples that are shown on this page should be very simple so 
that newcomers are not intimidated or lost.
