[pmwiki-users] "The /e modifier is deprecated..."

Went out to run an errand and vote, and now thewikis I run on 2 domains
(farmed on same server) give this error message repeated in many lines,
double-spaced.

*Deprecated*: preg_replace(): The /e modifier is deprecated, use
preg_replace_callback instead in < I clipped the directory from the error
line here > on line
*1698*
... Any idea what happened? My host switched to PHP 5.6 last Tuesday, but
assume any problem with that would have been seen before now. I haven't yet
updated PmWiki to .81 from .79.
