Are you able to see the first video which is a FLV video, at this page:


I can play it on Firefox but not on Chromium (on Ubuntu, and I don't 
have any media plugins enabled).

If it works for you, I'll release a new version of that recipe, which is 
PHP5.5 safe.

Note that it requires JavaScript to be enabled, or the user will only 
see a link to the video file, and will be able to click on it and either 
download the video or play it in the browser, if the necessary plugins 
are enabled.
