[pmwiki-users] Conditional If statement being displayed on web page?

So there is no way for me to do an if statement to decide on which variable to use? Our product does not have a space in the name which is why I don't want it to show with spaces, however if I change this to $Group variable it then messes it up for other pages as they do not have spaces anymore.

There must be a way to do this? Is it pmwiki's security that is stopping me from executing this in the tmpl file?

However it seems like pmwiki just is not executing my code but rather displaying it on the web page? If I put this in a separate file and include this file, the include line seems to look commented out when inspecting the element in a web browser.
