[pmwiki-users] XML site maps

What is the latest on generating xml based site maps for Google? I read
http://www.pmwiki.org/wiki/Cookbook/GoogleSitemaps but am not sure exactly
what to do?

I currently use pagelist as a way to generate site maps (see my previous
posting to the group), and following suggestions by PM tried to use
webmaster tools and inform Google of my site map, but Google flagged an
error and wanted me to create the list using xml.
