[pmwiki-users] Fresh install - can't save pages - text reverts and no save made

This can be a symptom of not providing an author name when it is required.

On your personal install you may have provided this in the past; the name is
preserved in a cookie and repopulated when necessary. On your virgin install
it isn't. No error message is given.... (or at least, it wasn't last time I
tried, a few versions ago).

See http://www.pmwiki.org/wiki/PmWiki/EditVariables:
$EnablePostAuthorRequired<http://www.pmwiki.org/wiki/PmWiki/EditVariables#EnablePostAuthorRequired>When
set to '1', posting of pages requires the author to provide an author name.
Otherwise, authors can post without a name.
# require authors to provide a name
$EnablePostAuthorRequired<http://www.pmwiki.org/wiki/PmWiki/EditVariables#EnablePostAuthorRequired>=
