[pmwiki-users] cannot acquire lockfile

hello, after reinstalling my pmwiki, here is what i get if i try to edit any
of my previous files:

*Warning*: fopen(wiki.d/.flock) [function.fopen]: failed to open stream:
Permission denied in */public/wiki/pmwiki.php* on line *521*
PmWiki can't process your request

Cannot acquire lockfile


Can anyone help me with this?
