[pmwiki-users] URL brackets

I am trying to create a link from my wiki to the following page in Wikipedia
within a [[URL | Link text]] link format:

http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Herz-Jesu-Kirche_(München)<http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Herz-Jesu-Kirche_(M%C3%BCnchen)>
Pmwiki automatically removes the brackets around Munchen and creates the
following link which Wikipedia cannot understand:

http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Herz-Jesu-Kirche_München<http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Herz-Jesu-Kirche_M%C3%BCnchen>

How can I avoid this?
