[pmwiki-users] unable to create user accounts

I posted something earlier under a different address. I just wanted to know how to access auth user or upgrade to siteadmin to have user accounts active on my site.   I did all of the basic chmods and added the statement "include_once("$FarmD/scripts/authuser.php");" to my config but I still cant get it to run. Can someone give me a  quick hand with this. thanks
