What is the difference between
text and text ?

It seems to me that pages with ! Somecategory are those that are
labelled (tagged) with that category,
and therefore should appear in the Category group.

Those of the form text refer (link) to a
category and DO NOT label a page with the category,
they should not appear in the Category group.

If there is going to be work in this area I'd like to see this distinction
clearly made and implemented.
This would resolve a long standing niggle and many questions about this
point.

Thanks

Simon
