[pmwiki-users] Page Text Variable not working

HI List,

I am relatively new to PMWiki, and still checking some of the basics. I 
am having problems using Page Text Variables - They do not appear to 
work ! I have created a page using the examples in PMWiki

This does not happen to pages dispalyed from PMWiki.org, so I suspect 
this may be a server or php config problem.

Has anyone seen this problem before, or can advise where I should start 
to look for the cause.
