PmWiki can't process your request

PmWiki needs to have a writable uploads/ directory before it can continue.
You can create the directory manually by executing the following commands on
your server:

    mkdir /var/www/pmwiki/uploads
    chmod 777 /var/www/pmwiki/uploads
Then, reload this page <http://jeffnet.zapto.org:85/pmwiki/pmwiki.php>.

Arrgghh!

Now, why isn't THAT in the documentation?
