[pmwiki-users] Notify question

I've been using notify for quite a while (version 2.1.27), but the 
volume of notifications was a bit high.

So I set

$NotifySquelch = 10800;

(notify delay had already been set to:

$NotifyDelay = 3600;
)

But this had the effect of disabling notification altogether.

Anyone have any ideas?
