Put this script in your uploads directory

   http://qdig.sourceforge.net/scripts/path_helper.php

 then  retrieve it with your browser.  Example:

   http://qdig.sourceforge.net/temp/path_helper.php

You might also try

   $EnableDirectDownload = 0;

in a local configuration file.
