Is there some page with information/instructions for authors of recipes?

The former is a bit long... I guess the choice depends on the name of the 
recipe. With a long name, it's probably better without the hyphen. With a 
short name, perhaps a 'Cookbook-' is in order.

Maybe it makes sense to place a

 	[[!Cookbook]]

on the homepage of such a group?  And in that case, maybe there doesn't 
even have to be a page in the group Cookbook/?

If this is approach is used, then prefixing with  'Cookbook-' isn't a good 
idea.
