I've just released 2.2.0-beta43, which incorporates a lot of
the new features recently discussed on the pmwiki-users
mailing list. The new release is available from

    http://www.pmwiki.org/pub/pmwiki/pmwiki-2.2.0-beta43.tgz
    http://www.pmwiki.org/pub/pmwiki/pmwiki-2.2.0-beta43.zip
    svn://pmwiki.org/pmwiki/tags/latest

There are a lot of new things in this release, so you may wish
to read these notes carefully before upgrading.

First, the $EnableDrafts function has changed somewhat --
now when drafts are enabled, the "Save" button on the edit form
is changed to "Publish" and a "Save draft" button appears
in the edit form. Using "Save draft" causes the page to
be saved with a -Draft suffix, using "Publish" causes the
page to be saved without a suffix.

There is an $EnablePublish configuration as well, which adds
a separate "publish" authorization level that can be set to
restrict publishing to specific editors.

The {(...)} expression syntax is now part of the core.
Documentation will be forthcoming, but it essentially follows
the description given in the Cookbook.MarkupExpression page.

Searches on sites using utf-8 are now performed case-insensitively
for accented characters.

The algorithm used to save page history (phpdiff.php) has been
optimized to use less memory and be more efficient, as well as
producing more concise histories.

The 'mailposts.php' and 'compat1x.php' scripts have been removed
from the core distribution.

Comments, questions welcomed as always.
