[pmwiki-users] Fwd: Simple markup question...

Thanks to all who have suggested answers to my other questions. They
were very helpful. I've been working hard on the "keep" markup and it
strikes me as strange no one has seen a need for this before. Yet I
can find nothing, after trying many combinations.

I currently have:

Markup('keep', 'inline', '/\\(:keep (.*?):\\)/e', "Keep(PSS(\"$1\"))");

Which is supposed to take Test: (:keep "[--test--]":) and display
[--test--] or perhaps "[--test--]". But it only displays test.
Suggesting "keep" not only ignores all markup it strips it. I want
[--test--] returned.

I guess I have the wrong function in mind for this. I do need
something that will take a page variable that might include some line
returns. Just want the original wiki markup--no html...

Ideas anyone?

Cheers,
Caveman
