Freemind is a good example of a mindmap-program.
Mindmaps are considered to be some graphical brainstorm things (which
I personal use often with students and meetings).
If you leave the graphical part, then you have a wiki. :-)
And therefore I use pmwiki often. Some meetings have todo lists for
groups which need controlled collaboration. pmwiki is great stuf for
that.
