Look like nobody followed up on this one; I also have a question -- how to
hide/remove the "Minor changes" from the "AllRecentChanges" window.
Since I regularly go into new/modified pages and clean up formatting, add
cross-references, etc., I mark my edits as "minor change" to hide from the
primary page history.
That works fine, but the AllRecentChanges page consistently lists me as
nearly the single, solitary contributor to the wiki as I have the last
edit. It's hard for me to give usage/creation stats to upper management
when it looks like I'm the only one using the site!

As far as I know, the only usage of minor changes is that we are able
to hide them in page history. Information about minor changes would
beneficial in other places, e.g. in recent changes and RSS, that would
make them more usable. Entries could contain "Minor change" string so
it would be clear if certain link is worth to click (and look at
changes in detail) or not.
My question is how to determine whether last change is minor or not,
e.g. how to add "Minor change" string to $RecentChangesFmt.
Another solution could be to add "Minor change" string to
$ChangeSummary. If the user does not enter page summary and checks
"This is a minor change" then $ChangeSummary would be filled by "Minor
change". If the user enters page summary text and checks "This is a
minor change" then $ChangeSummary would be filled by "Minor change -
some text"
Thanks in advance.
