Erm. I think that I think that.
Is making it an option to do away with the leading-space=pre rule
somehow in violation of this principle?
I do recognize this would mean that some of the documentation would
need to be revised, similarly to the way in which characteristics of
WikiWords/CamelCase went from being always true to being "in some
installations" true.
