Are you saying that the explicit reference to the currently displayed
group will be
required when links are manually entered in pages, or just in pagelists?
If they will be required in all pages, would you consider a leading dot,
or slash, or both, similar to the trailing dot and
slash used to refer to the home page. For example, all three of the
following would
explicitly refer to the page called Topic1 in the current group:
* [[{*$Group}/Topic1]]
* [[/Topic1]]
* [[.Topic3]]
