[pmwiki-users] Changes not saved on a parallel install with 2.2.0-beta14

In order to smoothly switch to version 2.2, and take the chance to
redesign the site at the same time, I just installed the last version
on a separate folder.
As far as I understand, the two install should be and behave as two
separate worlds (please see

On the fresh install, though, I get:
      PmWiki can't process your request
      Cannot write page to Xyz.Faq (wiki.d/Xyz.Faq)...changes not saved
      We are sorry for any inconvenience.
as I try to edit pages.

I tried with both $EnableRelativePageVars set to 0 and 1

It doesn't work.
