I just tried out DokuWiki, and it uses colons for namespace
separation.[1] Thus 'Profiles:BenWilson' equates to Profiles.BenWilson
in PmWiki. The "wiki.d" structure is nested sub-directories:
data/pages/Profiles/BenWilson.

In the example above, it is also possible to create a sub-directory of
Profiles:BenWilson, which produces: data/pages/Profiles/BenWilson.

Pages are distinguished from directories by the '.txt' file extension,
and page metadata (including changes) are stored in a separate data
file (/data/meta/profiles/BenWilson.meta, .changes, and .index)
