[pmwiki-users] Calendar / Event list

This is not directly about PmWiki, i hope you apologize if i ask you
nevertheless.

I was looking for a way to store some events, and have a webpage say:
the next upcoming event is: ...

Now i really looked around the net, but i didn't find something like
that. The cookbook recepies providing a full calender are way to much.

Does anyone know a nice solution to such a problem? (which will be
doable with a pmwiki)
