This poor horse has been flogged so much .... but ...
The home wiki is exactly like any other wiki in this respect. You can
set whatever skin you want for it in config.php. That will override
the default skin specified in farmconfig.php.
In fact, all of the settings in config.php in the home wiki act
exactly the same way they would if they were placed in any other wiki
in the farm.
The mind boggling part is that because the home wiki's pub/ directory
is shared by all wikis in the farm, any skin added for the home wiki
immediately becomes available to all the wikis in the farm.
