I keep translating all the terms in my head as I read.

Among the terms I use are parent-wiki, child-wiki, shared code, inherited
characteristics, multi-wiki installation, clone, and sibling.

But I don't have any problem with translating to these from the farm
analogies, except on the rare occasion where someone in the documentation
uses "farm" when he/she actually means "field".

I'm just really looking forward to trying my first farm setup. Assuming it
works out (which it surely ought to, with all of these new explanations
"cropping up" (sorry), I may be able to convert my 2 dozen stand-alone wikis
into one farm, and then be able to create one set of documentation that will
be true for all installations. Woohoo!
