Sure, there are at least two easy ways to do it:

1.  In pub/css/local.css

    .indent { margin-left:1.5em; }

2.  Create a new $HTMLStylesFmt setting in config.php:

    $HTMLStylesFmt[] = ' .indent { margin-left:1.5em; } ';
