[pmwiki-users] <!--markup:...--> adds <p>?

Hi everyone,

I'm trying to create a link in my template to a PmWiki page and of
course wanted to use the default PmWiki markup:

&copy; by Balu &middot; <!--markup:[[Main/Imprint |Impressum]]-->

But that adds a <p>-Tag around the link and so destroys my layout. Is
there a way to avoid that?
