[pmwiki-users] EMACS' pmwiki-mode: summary?

Is there any reason why EMACS' pmwiki-mode does not support
specification of a summary?  AFAICS, the lack of this feature makes it -
although otherwise great - unusable to me.  Here's how I'd could imagine
the user interface: When one saves a page using C-c C-c, then in the
minibuffer one should be given the chance to specify a summary.
Furthermore, it would be nice to have a facility of quickly storing the
currently open page to a temporary place on disk so that changes are not
lost, if e.g. EMACS crashes.
