[pmwiki-users] password questions

I've changed and added and rechanged the permissions for several pages and
groups on my site so many times that I don't know who's allowed to do what
anymore. All part of the prototype process, but it's time to clean it up.

AuthUser is my preference, if it will do what I want; I like to stick with the
core distribution as much as possible. The site is more a CMS than a wiki: One
super-user who can change menus, a few authors, groups that can be seen by some
and by all. Eventually a guestbook.

I'm using it with no cookbook recipes installed, with some passwords set in
config.php and others set using action=attr on the individual groups and pages.
I have not yet enabled AuthUser.

1. Is there an easy way to clear out all the passwords and permissions, and
start from scratch?

2. Where are the permissions for each page / group stored? Is this editable?

3. Are roles supported? From messages here it looks like they are, but I don't
see any documentation. E.g., A can do anything (and rarely logs in), B and C can
do most things (and generate the content). C and D can see everything but only
change some things. E and F can see only some things and edit nothing. E gets
promoted. D gets fired. I want to change their role rather than changing
passwords everywhere.

4. What is the latest stable version of PmWiki? Does it use the latest AuthUser
features, or should I hold off for a bit?

Thanks,

Susan
