I'm using authuser and so far I'm content to have authuser.
It's a nice feature to be able to add new user.

I think it makes sense to authorize User for a wikigroup or restrict to
a page.
But it's not very userfriendly to maintain the user authentications,
particularly if there are many groups.
* a possible Group-Authentication (Profiles: Guest, Poweruser (not
Admin), project-user) would be nice.
may be the groups like "read", "edit" could be extended.
* A way to improve usability would also be a page to maintain the groups
GroupAttributes.
(may be this could be done by includes of all attr-pages, I'll try)

I think the auth-infrastructur is on the way, although I think, user
adminstration has to be global, for a Farm,
It would be nice, to be able to define a user for a particular field,
but not locally in the config.php.
It's to timeconsuming, if you have a dozen "adhoc" project-wikis.

I like authuser
some work can be done to improve the usability.
Is there a discussion about the roadmap of authuser somewhere?
