[pmwiki-users] [PATCH] create links to individual changes on history page

Though I'm not sure what kind of use I would have for this, I think it
is a pretty neat idea. Could this possibly be used to delete a
specific historical entry, maybe with admin permissions? That is,
suppose you made a change you later regretted typing. It kind of bugs
me that mistake is recorded there indefinitely. Or suppose a spammer
repeatedly changes some page. Anyone looking at the diff will see his
ads as long as they are there.

I suppose one could delete a page, or manually edit it's content with
a text editor, but this could add a nice option. Just a thought.

Cheers,
Caveman

PS. I personally prefer shorter time stamps, as in 2006-08-15, though
having it down to the second might have advantages where there are
several changes a day. Having either work would be ok too.

Nice! This is a good idea for the core.

Thinking a bit larger for a second, I've been working on improving
date/time handling throughout PmWiki, primarily to be able to also
address the issue of viewing a page as of some point in its history.
Thus one would be able to say something like
..../Main/HomePage?when=2006-01-01 to see the version of
Main.HomePage that existed as of January 1, 2006.
