[pmwiki-users] Debugging LDAP

I am trying to set up user authentication using an external ldap server 
that doesn't support anonymous binds (namely Active Directory).  I have 
tried many different combinations of $AuthLDAPBindPassword and 
$AuthLDAPBindDN and any time I put any value in for either of them, the 
pmwiki returns a completely blank main page.  I haven't done any edits 
on the main page from the stock one.

I see no evidence that its actually trying to connect.

Does anyone know of any sort of debugging that I can turn on or possibly 
a log file that I can generate that will help a little bit in the 
troubleshooting process?

Better yet, can anyone who has successfully set up LDAP authentication 
using Active Directory give some details on how they did it?
