[pmwiki-users] Questions regarding author of last change of page

Hi,

I want to display the author of the last change of the current page in the footer. I.e. Page was last changed ... by ....
When I use $author in the skin template, it is the current author (me), not the one who made the changes. When I use $AuthorLink the markup [[~authorname]] ist not interpreted. What can i do?
