[pmwiki-users] How to add on the history of a deleted page

The current standard delete feature (editing the page and replacing the
content with "delete") renames the file by adding a timestamp and deletes
the page from the influence of the standard wiki users. When restoring a
maliciously replaced file, the administrator can check the history trying to
find the culprit.

But, unfortunately, the history ends before the attempt has taken place!

In a wiki implementation where all the users are authenticated, this is
really a shame. It is as if the flight recorder of an airplane just stopped
working before the crash.

How can we tweak the standard PmWiki delete function, so as to record also
the last delete in the history of the deleted file?

Thanks, DerWolf
