Hey.. if you'd given me more time I'd asked for it now as well ;-)

On a more serious note, I guess I simply prefer *verbose* semantic markup 
as compared to e.g. {=..=}.

Btw, I guess {=...=} conflicts with using {=...=} for escaping/quoting
text. Guess that leaves only [=...=] and (=...=) for escaping. A pity
though... I kind of liked being able to use all three for escaping text.
Since they all contained '=' and a kind of bracket, it sort of made 
sense that they group something.
